NEPSE Slips Nearly Two Points in Pre-Open Session
NEPSE declined by nearly two points in Tuesday’s pre-open session, indicating a cautious start following losses in the previous trading day.

Nepal’s benchmark equity index moved lower during the pre-open session on Tuesday, extending the cautious tone seen in the previous trading session.
The benchmark index of the Nepal Stock Exchange declined by 1.88 points to 2,579.33 in the pre-open session. The index had closed at 2,581.21 on Monday after falling by 13.88 points. The Sensitive Index also slipped by 0.19 point during the session.
Trading activity remained moderate in the pre-open window. A total of 7,835 shares were traded across 44 stocks through 569 transactions, generating turnover of approximately Rs 5.49 million.
Among traded stocks, prices of 12 companies advanced, while 26 declined. The remaining six stocks traded unchanged, reflecting mixed investor sentiment ahead of the regular trading hours.
