Nepal Oil Corporation Moves Forward with Plan to Merge LPG Gas Industries
Nepal Oil Corporation has initiated steps to encourage the merger of LPG gas industries operating under different names and brands across Nepal.
The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies has moved forward with a plan to merge LPG gas industries operating across Nepal, following a policy initiative led by Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC).
According to the corporation, the merger policy will continue under Point No. 32 of its approved policy and programme for the current fiscal year 2083/84. The policy aims to consolidate LPG industries currently operating under different names and brands.
As part of the initiative, NOC sent letters to all LPG gas industries on Kartik 12, 2083, requesting them to encourage the merger process and prepare action plans to move forward accordingly.
The corporation expects the initiative to help improve the overall LPG sales and distribution system, making it more organized, efficient and convenient for consumers.
The proposed consolidation is part of the corporation's broader effort to strengthen the management of the LPG industry and improve the delivery of essential services to consumers.
