Dipak Baral has been appointed Country Head of Asian Paints Nepal, becoming the first Nepali to take overall leadership of the company’s Nepal market.

Baral began his career with Asian Paints Nepal in 2003 as a frontline employee. Over the years, he worked across sales, marketing and sales activation, gradually moving into senior leadership roles within the company.

He previously served as Head of Sales and Marketing, a position he held until August 2026.

Baral returned to Asian Paints Nepal in 2024 as Head of Sales and Marketing after working in senior management positions at other companies.

His appointment marks a notable progression from a frontline role to the country-level leadership of the same company more than two decades after he first joined.
